Some of them promising, amongst which Patrick Kittels Floresco, who managed to carry himself well and showed some pirouettes in a way they should be performed.
In the evening programme it was time for the Dressage night. Up coming talent Aat van Essenm with, according to some stud farms, dream horse Premier showed beautiful pirouettes and balanced high tilted legs in trot. Unexpected participation from Marlies van Baalen with Relevant scored a 68,4%. International competition from the far east came in the person of the Japanese Toshihiko Kiso, trained by Dutch Sjef Janssen, inspiring to all of us who wish to ride long into their lives. That may not always go without pain and perseverance as proved Kirsten Beckers, who while still recovering from a fall, managed to bite her tongue and give it her all. When such success, the feeling is priceless. And that is what we all do it for.
